Ooyama will work to properly handle and protect the personal information we receive from customers based on this privacy policy.

Personal information refers to information like that listed below that can be used either by itself or with other information to identify a specific individual.

• Name, address, profession, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, etc.
• This includes information that by itself cannot be used to identify an individual but can be easily cross-referenced with other information to do so.

We use our customers' personal information to ship products, provide related after-sales services and deliver notifications of new products and services. When we ask customers for personal information, we will always clearly state the purpose of use and collect it on a voluntary basis. We will never use personal information for purposes other than stated without the customer's consent.

We will not disclose the personal information we receive from customers to any third party except in the following cases:

• We have obtained the customer's consent
• It is disclosed in a form that will not identify the customer (such as statistical data)
• It is determined to be necessary based on the law

We will take utmost care when handling the personal information of our customers and implement strict security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leaks, loss, damage and tampering.

5. Disclosure, correction and suspension of use of personal information

When requested to disclose, correct or cease use of the personal information we have received from a customer, if we are able to confirm that the request was made by the individual in question, we will perform the necessary investigation without delay and disclose, correct or cease use of said information within a reasonable time frame based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

6. Compliance with relevant laws

We will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other social norms.

7. Continuous improvement

We will keep track of changes in laws, social norms and information technology, continually review our system of management and work to make continuous improvements in order to properly manage personal information.

8. Changes to basic policy

We may review and make changes to the content of this basic policy as necessary. The latest version will always be posted on the website.
